Publisher: Sierra Dean
Published: June 2013

Cooper Reynolds's life is going to the dogs...literally.As if being a high school senior in a small Texas town wasn't hard enough, Cooper has bigger things to worry about than who he'll take to prom and whether or not the Poisonfoot Padres will win homecoming. He has less than a year before his eighteenth birthday, when a curse placed on his family will doom him to live in coyote form forever. The last thing he needs to complicate his already messed-up life is a girl, but fate has other plans in mind for him when it brings Eloise "Lou" Whittaker to Poisonfoot. She's grouchy, sarcastic and has no love for her new Texas home, but she might be exactly the right person to help Cooper break the curse. The clock is ticking, and Cooper will have to decide if he's willing to let Lou in on his dirty little secret before it's too late.

Review:
Luckily, I got the e-ARC of this book. I stopped at 75% and was thinking to do my assignments, but the voice inside my head kept telling me to read it until the end. So here I am, writing the review, feeling so great and so mad because I have to wait 'til the next title release. The story is about Lou, a girl who just lost her father for cancer, moved to a small town with her grandmother. This review may contain spoilers (you have been warned!) Since she left California, crazy things happened. She had a dream which felt so real, a coyote came to visit her house, she finally knew her dream was real, and she spoke to her dead dad!! And she couldn't understand why all people kept telling her to stay away from Cooper, her new chem lab partner. She fell in love with him. She couldn't even be distracted by her perfect looking neighbours who kept flirting with her. Lou decided to help Cooper, but she was distracted by her own memory...

The story centers in Lou and Cooper. I found it as a easy reading. I read this only for almost a day! I highly recomment this book if you like reading about supernatural and curses, like Beautiful Creatures (almost). This book keeps me wanting more! One of reviewer on Goodreads says, "You might be cursing me because then you'll be stuck dying to know what happens next too!" Trust me, you won't regret it. The second book coming November 2013.

About the author:

Sierra Dean is a reformed historian. She was born and raised in the Canadian prairies and is allowed annual exit visas in order to continue her quest of steadily conquering the world one city at a time. Making the best of the cold Canadian winters, Sierra indulges in her less global interests: drinking too much tea and writing urban fantasy.

Ever since she was a young girl she has loved the idea of the supernatural coexisting with the mundane. As an adult, however, the idea evolved from the notion of fairies in flower beds, to imagining that the rugged-looking guy at the garage might secretly be a werewolf. She has usedher overactive imagination to create her own version of the world, where vampire, werewolves, fairies, gods and monsters all walk among us, and she'll continue to travel as much as possible until she finds it for real.

She's also a book lover (of course!), obsessive collector of OPI nailpolish and the owner of way too many pairs of shoes. Goodreads / Website / Twitter

    1. I'm afraid not :-( The related title is Dog Days #1. But this book probably ends on the 4th season.

So far I've never read a book with autumn season. Sorry.
