HELLO again! It's been a long time since I posted something here. Thanks to Linda who tags me on this brand new tag called The To-Be-Read Tag :) I pushed myself hard just to do this. I'm so sorryyyy not be able to post book reviews regularly. I do still read books tho! I just haven't had time to write the review. Work and college are pretty crazy these days. I'm responsible for handling the news about the biggest youth convention in Indonesia called UBS DetEksi-Con 2k14 on early November. But the crazy preparations have been started since two months ago. Well, enough grumbling. You're here to read about my everyday-gets-higher TBR pile. So here you go:
How do you keep track of your TBR pile?
Wow, such a hard question, I admit! I use Goodreads only to manage now reading list. When I get new books, I'm gonna sort them first. Books that I have to read (in exchange for honest review from publishers or authors) will be placed on the table next to my bed. So, of course the pile is not that high :) But the books that I randomly buy, books that are not necessarily reviewed, I put them on my bookcase. Please note, my bookcase is not in my bedroom. It means I don't visit it very often. It's hard for me to keep up what's on there!
Is your TBR mostly print or e-book?
Mostly print since I can't get enough to see how beautiful those books are when they are well organized on the bookcase :)) But I also have lots of e-book, in iBook (that I've purchased) and kindle (free from authors or amazon). I don't bring my iPad everywhere I go anymore.
How do you determine which book to read next?
Deadline! I only need to read books on my side-table-bed. I read the one which comes first. And sometimes judge by the cover. I can't resist it!
A book that has on your TBR list the longest?
Whoaaaaa... I don't know. Maybe Abarat 2! I bought it last year, but the truth is I even haven't read the first book I've bought years ago. How bad is that??
A book you've recently added to your TBR pile?
Eragon series. I've been wanting to read it for so long. Last Monday I found it on an online bookstore with only IDR 110.000 (for 3 books).
A book on your TBR strictly because of its beautiful cover?
Those two are attractive for me. Looking for Alaska is prettier because I personally like the real-kind-of-cover. But An Abundance of Katherines from Gramedia Pustaka Utama is pretty good because its colors beside the chalkboard font that I really like :)
A book on your TBR that you never plan on actually reading?
The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare! I already have the first three books. They look great on my bookcase. I once planned to read them. But recently some friends told me that after the first three books, the story is bad. Sooooo I'm not sure what i'm gonna do to those books lol.
An unpublished book on your TBR that you're excited for?
Hmm... all books on by TBR list are published already :(
A book on your TBR that basically everyone has read except you?
It's hard to answer. Most books on my TBR were added because everyone has read them.
A book on your TBR that everyone recommends to you?
The Mystery of The Yellow Room by Gaston Leroux. My cousin is currently reading it because I told her to :)
A book on your TBR that you're dying to read?
All Dan Brown's books! But I have no idea why I have no plan to ever touch those books.
The number of books on your Goodreads TBR shelf?
Hundreds I'm sure. Like I've said before that I don't add all books on Goodreads. It's too hard to keep up.
Well, that's all for me. Sooooooo.... It's time to tag some book bloggers to do this. Wait, I think I want to tag Stephanie Sugia because I really want to know her TBR. She read book so often as she breath. So, I doubt that she has lots books on her TBR. I also want to tag new member of BBI, Hestia Istiviani. The last one is Resita Putri because her last post is September. So, I hope she can write something on her blog with this tag :)
Thank you, Ratri! And goodluck for the youth convention. :)))
